Sources close to the British royal family have reported that Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice have lost the chance to inherit an estate worth up to 30 million pounds sterling. This follows King Charles stripping their father, Prince Andrew, of his royal titles and forcing him to leave the prestigious Royal Lodge. According to real estate experts, the princesses had hoped to inherit Royal Lodge after their father's death, but this opportunity vanished after King Charles took official steps to terminate the home's lease agreement. Prince Andrew had leased Royal Lodge, which has 30 rooms, for 75 years since 2003 under a long-term agreement with the Crown Estate. The 65-year-old prince enjoyed strong residency rights, leading many to believe he planned to bequeath the palace to his daughters. However, amid growing scandals surrounding Prince Andrew, King Charles took strict measures against him, notifying the prince that he must leave Royal Lodge. This decision came after a significant decline in his royal standing, which included being stripped of his titles. Prince Andrew had been living at Royal Lodge with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, and it appears this decision marked the end of this chapter in his royal life. Real estate expert Elliot Casell from "We Buy Any Home" stated that Prince Andrew's departure from Royal Lodge means losing any possible chance of inheriting the property. He explained: "When a lease is terminated or surrendered, inheriting the property becomes impossible." Casell added that losing the lease means the door to inheritance is completely closed, both financially and in terms of property rights. Casell confirmed that the official action taken to evict Prince Andrew from Royal Lodge before its due date completely nullified the contract's value. He pointed out that this includes not only moving costs but also reflects a significant loss in long-term real estate investments that could have lasted for decades. He said: "Reports indicate a loss of around 500,000 pounds sterling, which is part of the overall loss, including the financial impacts of this transition."
